6. Grease a 12-count mini muffin tin with cooking spray or use liners. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean and the tops are golden.

Kiju Unsweetened Applesauce

Our two ingredient applesauce is simply the combination of apples and our KIJU Organic Apple Juice. Core the apples and add them to a pot along with our apple juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer until apples have become soft. Mash with a fork to the consistency of your liking, or blend until smooth.

Recipe makes 36 mini muffins.

Kiju & The Great Sandwich Make

IMG_9893

We are pumped to be donating over one thousand organic juices to The Great Sandwich Make this year! This year’s event happens March 3 to 4, 2017.

Every year, Flipside Creative embarks on a rogue charitable initiative to feed 1,000 folks in Vancouver’s downtown east side some seriously delicious and nutritious food. They do it because they know how damn important good food is to helping folks reach their potential, stay energized, and dig deep to get through dark days. They also do it because they recognize that we’re all human and every person regardless of circumstance or the decisions they’ve made in their lives deserves to eat a good meal every day.

We do it, because #givingfeelsgood.
